(Psalm 150) The Church on the Rise music team aims to honour God the Father, exalt Jesus Christ and to welcome the Holy Spirit into everything that we do. Our purpose is to unite as one using the gifts and talents that God has given to influence and encourage others through both traditional and contemporary music to touch the heart of God through intimate praise and worship. Our desire is to see lives changed and people set free, knowing that they are loved by the God of the universe. Our music team is involved in various outreaches. In December we host a Christmas event with other churches in the area to bring the true meaning of Christmas to the people of Beerwah and the surrounding townships. We are also invited to play at Australia Zoo every Christmas eve and Easter Sunday. We are excited about what God is doing in and through us and we look forward to impacting this area more with the love of Jesus through song. Our weekly music practices are on Thursday nights at 7pm. We have a short time of devotion and prayer and then get into practicing new or recently learned songs. If you have a gift for music, a talent for singing and are interested you are very welcome to attend. We are always praying for more musicians!
